About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced Emergency Department. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in high-acuity environments and is passionate about delivering timely high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency setting
Perform rapid patient assessments and triage
Administer medications and emergency treatments
Develop and implement patient care plans
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes
Respond effectively to critical and time-sensitive situations
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Unit Details

19-bed Emergency Department
1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
Average daily volume of 108 patients
Diverse care team including RNs EMTs paramedics CNAs and providers
Treats a wide range of conditions including:
- Cardiac and respiratory emergencies
- Stroke and trauma cases
- Abdominal and acute conditions
Only provider of pediatric and PICU services in the region

Qualifications

Active RN license
Associates degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
BLS certification (within 30 days of hire)
ACLS PALS and TNCC certifications (within 6 months of hire)
Minimum 1 year of acute care experience preferred
