Location: Cambridge Minnesota (Onsite)
Duration: Full Time

Job Description

Job Summary:

The R&D Technician supports engineering by building modifying and testing prototypes and test fixtures. The role requires strong mechanical skills and the ability to work closely with engineering and production teams.

Education & Experience:

Associate degree or technical certification in Engineering Technology OR equivalent hands-on experience
5 years in an R&D or engineering environment
Valid Drivers License

Technical Skills:

Strong mechanical aptitude
Hands-on assembly skills
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and basic schematics
Experience in Marine systems preferred
Experience with electrical controls preferred

Responsibilities:

Interface with Engineering Production and Leadership daily
Build assemble and modify prototypes based on engineering documentation
Set up and conduct mechanical electrical and functional tests
Record accurate measurements data and observations
Provide recommendations based on test results
Troubleshoot design assembly and performance issues
Support engineering on installation practices and serviceability improvements
Provide customer support to dealers and customers (onsite and virtual)
Maintain and organize R&D tools equipment and materials
Perform additional duties as assigned
