Job Summary

Job Title: QA Analyst (Java Mainframe DB2 AWS -8 Yrs Exp

Location: Atlanta GA -Onsite

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze business requirements and develop detailed test plans test scenarios and test cases
Perform functional integration and system testing for Java applications on distributed platforms
Execute test program changes update test files run test cycles and validate results against requirements
Identify log track and manage defects using Jira ensuring timely resolution
Validate data using SQL queries across Postgres and DB2 databases
Perform backend data verification and ensure data integrity across systems
Work with JCL on IBM/DELL mainframe systems for testing batch processes
Troubleshoot debug and analyze software issues to ensure high-quality deliverables
Prepare comprehensive program-level and user-level documentation to support SDLC processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide guidance to meet testing goals and deadlines
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to obtain user sign-off before production deployment
Follow organizational processes for source code control migration and release management
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and efficiency
Develop data analysis reports and summaries to support business and technical teams
Ensure compliance with testing standards best practices and organizational guidelines
Minimum 5 years of experience in testing Java-based applications
Strong hands-on experience with DB2 and Postgres databases including data validation and querying
Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including test planning execution integration testing and deployment
Experience working with Jira for defect tracking and test management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex systems
Experience in preparing detailed technical and user documentation
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-based testing environments
Familiarity with Kofax tools and document processing systems
Prior experience working with Department of Labor (DOL) or similar government agencies
Knowledge of Java programming and mainframe technologies
