About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Director Physician Services to provide strategic and operational leadership for physician practice management. This role is responsible for driving financial performance operational excellence and physician integration across a multi-site healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for all aspects of physician practice management operations
- Drive financial and operational performance including budgeting forecasting and variance analysis
- Implement and communicate organizational and strategic initiatives across physician services
- Lead integration efforts for physicians within the broader healthcare delivery system
- Oversee practice acquisitions including due diligence and post-acquisition integration
- Supervise and develop Market Directors and Managers
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards policies and procedures
- Monitor physician employment agreements and contract compliance
- Coordinate operational startup for new physician practices
- Conduct on-site practice visits and maintain strong stakeholder communication
- Oversee administrative systems reporting and documentation
- Identify operational improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions
- Lead EMR strategy execution to improve quality outcomes and productivity
- Collaborate with leadership on talent development training and workforce planning
- Develop and implement training programs for practice management teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Healthcare Management Business Administration or related field (required)
- Master s degree (preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing physician practices
- Strong experience in healthcare operations finance and practice management
- Ability to travel up to 75%
