About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Quality to lead and oversee quality compliance and performance improvement initiatives within a hospital setting. This role is responsible for driving clinical excellence ensuring regulatory compliance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Direct departmental activities to achieve organizational quality and performance objectives
Develop and implement quality improvement plans policies and procedures
Oversee patient care quality compliance and performance metrics
Lead and manage internal and external audits
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA
Monitor and manage departmental budgets and resource allocation
Supervise staff including hiring training performance management and development
Foster a culture of professional growth and continuous improvement
Integrate evidence-based practices into clinical and operational processes
Manage complaint resolution and service quality initiatives

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
BLS certification preferred
Strong background in healthcare quality compliance and regulatory standards
Proven leadership experience in a hospital or healthcare setting

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to handle complex and sensitive situations
Proficiency in computer applications (Excel reporting tools documentation systems)
Strong organizational and project management skills

Work Environment & Additional Details

Onsite role in a hospital environment
Exposure to clinical settings and healthcare-related risks
May require minimal travel (up to 10%)
