We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with Medical-Surgical experience to provide high-quality patient care in an acute care setting. This role is ideal for a nurse who is skilled in patient assessment care planning and working in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver direct patient care in a medical-surgical unit
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitoring
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide wound care and ongoing patient management
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using EMR systems
- Active RN license (Compact license accepted)
- Degree from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum 1 year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with EMR systems preferred
- Strong patient assessment and clinical skills
- Experience in medication administration and wound care
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
