About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This role is ideal for a compassionate and skilled nurse who thrives in a critical care environment and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a critical care ICU setting
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitoring
- Administer medications and specialized treatments
- Develop and implement patient care plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Respond to rapidly changing patient conditions using clinical judgment and critical thinking
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Unit Details
- 32-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Treats a wide range of conditions including:
- Respiratory failure
- Cardio/pulmonary diseases
- Sepsis
- Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA)
- Team includes RNs and CNAs in a collaborative environment
Qualifications
- Active RN license (state-specific)
- Bachelor s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program
- BLS certification (within 30 days of hire)
- ACLS and PALS certifications (within 6 months of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of ICU or relevant nursing experience preferred
