Senior Technical Recruiter
Job Summary

We are seeking a high-performing Senior Technical Recruiter to join our fast-paced staffing this role you will lead the full-cycle recruitment of top-tier technical talent for our diverse portfolio of clients. You will act as a strategic advisor to our clients helping them define technical requirements and navigate competitive talent markets while managing a high-volume pipeline of candidates. This is a contract role on-site in our Camarillo office.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Execution: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from initial client intake and job description drafting to final offer negotiation and closing.
- Strategic Sourcing: Utilize advanced sourcing techniques (Boolean search LinkedIn Recruiter GitHub niche tech communities) to identify and engage passive candidates for hard-to-fill roles.
- Client Consultation: Partner with hiring managers at client organizations to understand their technology stack team culture and business goals to ensure high-quality submittals.
- Technical Screening: Conduct rigorous phone and video screens to assess technical skills motivation and cultural fit before presenting a curated shortlist to clients.
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain an evergreen database of pre-qualified technical professionals across software engineering project management DevOps data science and infrastructure.
- Market Intelligence: Advise clients on salary benchmarks candidate trends and competitive hiring strategies based on real-time market data.
- Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior recruiters on the team sharing best practices for candidate engagement and process optimization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 5 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience ideally within a staffing agency or fast-growth tech environment.
- Technical Literacy: Proven ability to understand and explain complex technical requirements.
- Sourcing Mastery: Expertise in non-standard sourcing methods and a track record of successfully hunting and closing purple squirrel candidates.
- Communication: Exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills with the ability to build trust quickly with both senior executives and technical experts.
- Tools: Advanced proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
Rate: $45-55hour DOE
