Whats the role

As Manager Quality Assurance- Regulatory Reporting youll play a key role in strengthening the quality and integrity of Westpacs regulatory reporting.

Sitting within the Group Reporting & Analytics Finance team youll help establish and embed a new quality assurance capability within Regulatory Reporting. Youll interpret regulatory requirements review and analyse reporting outputs and perform targeted analytical deep dives to provide assurance that information is accurate complete and fit for purpose. Working closely with stakeholders across Finance Treasury Technology and the broader business youll contribute to consistent highquality reporting outcomes across the Group.

This is a fulltime role based in Sydney with flexible working arrangements and standard business hours.

What do I need

  • Relevant experience within financial services ideally with exposure to regulatory or businessasusual reporting in a banking environment
  • Strong programming and dataquerying capability with experience in tools such as SQL and Python
  • Strong capability in data analytics and insight generation with experience using tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Solid understanding of core financial concepts and business performance drivers
  • Relevant academic or practical background in finance computer science or a related analytical discipline
