About the Team:

You will be joining the Administration portfolio within the College of Sport Health and Engineering a high-performing team dedicated to delivering efficient and student-centred operational services.

Our portfolio supports planning resource management academic delivery and process optimisation across the Colleges diverse disciplines including Nursing Allied Health Clinical Science Biomedical and Life Sciences Sport and Movement Science. Built Environment and Engineering.

Within this portfolio Student and Resource Management (SRM) is a key work stream responsible for

  • Coordinating unit offerings and course sequencing
  • Managing timetabling inputs and specialist facility requirements
  • Overseeing sessional staff contracting and workload data
  • Producing analytical reports that guide College-level decisions
  • Driving continuous improvement in resource management

The SRM team provides essential operational support to ensure teaching quality student progression and coordinated administrative processes across the Colleges diverse discipline areas.

About the Role:

This role focuses on coordinating unit offerings maintaining accurate class quotas and supporting the Colleges timetabling and sessional staffing frameworks. You will analyse data from multiple enterprise systems to identify scheduling clashes enrolment trends and potential resource impacts ensuring timely escalation and advice to stakeholders.

You will prepare meeting papers maintain high quality data records service key operational meetings and support SRM improvements during peak planning cycles. The role also involves resolving escalated student progression or timetable issues contributing to system enhancement projects and providing clear technical guidance on scheduling processes and timelines.

Salary: HEP6 $91796 classification 17% superannuation
Employment Type: Full-time continuing role
Hours: 36.75 hours per week

About You:

This role is suited to a detail oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for operational accuracy. You are someone who thrives in a busy data driven environment and can confidently manage competing deadlines while delivering high-quality administrative support.

The Ideal Fit:

  • You have strong experience coordinating unit offerings class quotas and timetabling inputs with the ability to manage complex scheduling requirements.
  • You bring strong analytical capability and can interpret data across multiple University systems to provide clear proactive advice.
  • You exercise sound judgement in resolving resource and scheduling challenges and build effective working relationships with academic and professional staff.
  • You are highly organised able to manage high volume workloads meet critical deadlines and quickly adapt to systems such as Excel Syllabus Student One and InfoVU.
