Compensation & Incentives
- Hourly Rate: $32.52 (Min/New Grad) $40.65 (Mid/10 yrs) $44.72 (Max/16 yrs)

About the Role
Join a newly established acute care hospital in Gainesville and play a key role in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care. As an Occupational Therapist you will help patients regain independence improve daily functioning and enhance overall quality of life following illness or injury. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to building a patient-centered excellence-driven clinical environment from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive functional assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to support recovery and independence
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans safety and home care strategies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Support and mentor therapy assistants and students as appropriate
Qualifications
- Experience: Open to all experience levels; new graduates encouraged to apply
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Licensure: Active Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility)
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire
