Job Summary
Southend Pharmacy is seeking a high-velocity tech-native Executive Assistant to serve as the right hand to our Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). This isnt a take notes and schedule coffee role. You will be the engine behind a sophisticated marketing machine managing a complex web of MarTech tools high-stakes communication and a rapidly evolving calendar. The ideal candidate possesses a rare blend of emotional intelligence and technical grit. You dont just use tools; you master them. You dont just see a problem; you solve it before the CMO even knows it exists.
You will have a front-row seat to the growth of a leading organization and work directly with a visionary leader. This is a role for someone who wants to be more than an assistantyou want to be an integral part of a winning team.
Key Responsibilities
Your Primary Domains
- The Tech Stack Architect: You will live in our MarTech ecosystem. Youll be expected to navigate and manage tasks within ClickUp AirTable Apollo Instantly and Clay
- The Gatekeeper & Air Traffic Controller: Manage a high-volume inbox and a shifting calendar. Youll prioritize meetings not just by time but by strategic importance and the CMOs energy levels
- Marketing Function Support: Act as the administrative glue for the entire marketing department ensuring projects in ClickUp stay on track and deadlines are met
- Privacy & Discretion: You will have access to sensitive data and strategic pivots. Maintaining absolute confidentiality and data privacy is a non-negotiable cornerstone of the role
Who You Are
- A Figure-It-Out Expert: You are resourceful by nature. If you dont know how to integrate a new tool or fix a workflow youll find the tutorial test the solution and present the resultnot the question
- Tech-Fluent: You dont need a manual. You have a high aptitude for software and can jump into new platforms (like Clay or AirTable) and understand the logic quickly
- High EQ: You can read the room (even a virtual one). You know when to push back when to pivot and how to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Detail Obsessed: You notice the broken link in an email sequence and the missing tag in ClickUp before anyone else does
What We Require
- 3 years of experience supporting C-suite executives preferably in a high-growth tech environment
- Power User status in project management software (ClickUp/Asana/Monday)
- Familiarity with the MarTech landscape: Experience with automation CRM or lead-gen tools is a massive plus
- Exceptional Writing: You can draft emails in the CMOs voice that are concise professional and persuasive
- Resilience: You thrive in an environment where things change weekly and speed is a competitive advantage
