As a Security Officer - *Flex Roving Patrol in Jonestown PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an Unarmed Patrol and Access Control Officer you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and support access control for employees and visitors. You will communicate clearly document observations and provide customer service while using teamwork and integrity. As this is a driving post you will also be responsible for mobile patrols as required. A valid drivers license is required to meet AU Driver Policy requirements. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and/or distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including reporting hazards suspicious activity and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas warehouses loading docks parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activity.
• Monitor access points and traffic flow verify identification and/or authorization as required and assist with visitor contractor and delivery driver check-in procedures.
• Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports communicate significant events to supervisors and/or site contacts and support operational continuity by following post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
