Under general supervision the Administrative Analyst coordinates student employment payroll and financial operations while analyzing data preparing reports and supporting procurement and travel activities. The incumbent provides guidance on policies and procedures and contributes to operational continuity through administrative fiscal and logistical support functions

  • Administers and analyzes student employment program operations including personnel processing payroll coordination and fiscal monitoring of student employment and Work Study funds.
  • Reviews and evaluates student employment documentation (hiring forms evaluations pay increases Work Study awards and monthly timesheets) to ensure completeness accuracy and compliance with campus policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates student payroll processing activities by reviewing validating and entering payroll data within the Library database and campus payroll systems ensuring accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Monitors student employee payroll expenditures and budget allocations prepares projections and tracks and reviews departmental spending to ensure alignment with approved student employment budgets.
  • Coordinates administrative financial operations related to procurement travel and accounts processing in support of Library operational needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Equivalent to two (2) years of full-time technical analytical or administrative experience.
  • Additional experience in job-related field may be substituted for required education on a year for year basis.
