Job Summary
Job Title: General Laborer / Forklift Operator
Location: Nettleton MS
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $17.00 $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Morning Shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (up to 5:30 PM as needed)
Position Summary:
We are seeking dependable and experienced General Laborers and Forklift Operators to join a fast-paced warehouse team. This role involves material handling operating equipment and supporting shipping and receiving operations. Candidates with experience in warehouse distribution order picking or construction environments are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials using forklifts clamp trucks pallet jacks and other equipment
- Accurately complete order picking and fulfillment using RF scanners and warehouse systems
- Operate cranes and heavy machinery in compliance with safety regulations
- Assist with shipping and receiving including proper documentation and product handling
- Perform material handling tasks such as lifting stacking and organizing inventory
- Support inventory control processes including cycle counts and quality checks
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
- Assist supervisors with daily warehouse operations as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in warehouse distribution shipping/receiving or construction required
- Forklift experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and safe equipment operation
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus
- Ability to lift and move materials consistently throughout the shift
- Experience with RF scanners order picking (including cherry picker) and general warehouse equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Prior warehouse leadership experience is a plus
