Your next career opportunity
As the Technical Artist (Virtual Production) on a fixedterm you will prepare and optimise real-time LED volume content and provide onset technical support for student and research projects. You will gain handson experience with Unreal Engine nDisplay and multinode rendering workflows while collaborating across the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music on the Southbank campus.

What you will deliver:

  • Preproduction and onset Support: Brief and support students researchers and project teams; prepare and refine Unreal Engine projects and 3D assets; provide onset operational and technical assistance.
  • Realtime Content Validation and Optimisation: Validate multinode realtime rendering optimise LED volume content for nDisplay and ensure performance meets studio requirements.
  • Technical Maintenance and Documentation: Assist with installation configuration and routine maintenance of LED volume studio systems; maintain accurate documentation and operational procedures.
  • Collaboration and Compliance: Liaise with the Virtual Production Lead faculty staff and external partners; ensure adherence to safety operational and university requirements.

You may be a great fit if:

  • You are a handson technical artist with proven experience in Unreal Engine and realtime rendering workflows.
  • You possess practical knowledge of nDisplay or multinode rendering and LED volume content optimisation.
  • You have strong communication and documentation skills able to brief and support students and researchers.
  • You are organised and autonomous capable of managing workflows and maintaining studio systems to established standards.
  • You are collaborative and adaptable comfortable working in an educational environment supporting teaching and creative projects.
