Job Vacancy: Accounting Manager
Roodepoort Johannesburg
A well-established accounting practice is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to lead a team and manage client portfolios with a strong focus on performing and reviewing VAT reconciliations and SARS submissions drafting and reviewing financial statements reviewing general ledger reconciliations and accounting records explaining financial information to clients supporting month-end and year-end processes and supervising and mentoring junior accountants.
Minimum Requirements
- Registered with a recognised professional body
- 35 years experience within an accounting practice
- Proven ability to manage and supervise a team
- Experience managing multiple client portfolios and deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly to clients
- Highly organised and deadline-driven
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior accountants or trainees
