Job Role & Key Responsibilities:
As a Reliability Lead you will play a key role within the engineering leadership team driving improvements in asset performance and maintenance strategy. Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment you will lead initiatives to enhance machinery reliability reduce downtime and implement continuous improvement practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead reliability and maintenance improvement initiatives across site
- Review and optimise PPM schedules and maintenance strategies
- Analyse asset performance to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
- Investigate root causes of recurring breakdowns and implement solutions
- Drive reduction in downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness
- Support engineering teams with fault finding and technical problem solving
- Introduce preventative and predictive maintenance techniques
- Promote and embed a continuous improvement and Lean culture
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve operational performance
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience in a reliability or senior maintenance role
- Strong background within fast-paced manufacturing environments
- Demonstrated experience improving maintenance strategies and asset performance
- Ability to analyse issues quickly and implement effective solutions
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Desirable Skills:
- Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives
- Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance techniques
- Experience working cross-functionally within engineering and production teams
