Position: Film and Video Editor
Type: Contract
Compensation: $60$100/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: Short term sprint
Commitment: High numbers of hours available
Role Responsibilities
- Design questions related to the Film and Video Editor occupation using professional experience.
- Evaluate the accuracy and depth of AI-generated content to strengthen reasoning and rigor in model outputs.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
- Collaborate with AI research teams to ensure consistency and relevance across datasets.
- Provide structured feedback to improve training data quality and downstream performance.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- 4 years full-time work experience as a Film and Video Editor.
- Be based in the US UK or Canada.
- Access to a desktop or laptop computer (no Chromebooks).
Compensation & Legal
- We can meet industry-standard compensation expectations for your current role.
- Paid weekly via Stripe Connect based on logged project work hours.
- Classified as an at-will contractor to Mercor.
- Cannot currently support H1-B or STEM OPT status candidates.
