About the role

Scotia Global Asset Management is looking for a Senior Manager Product Developmentto join our dynamic and collaborative Product Development this role you will help shape and execute the next generation of investment solutionsincluding mutual funds and ETFsprimarily under the Dynamicbrand.

Is this role right for you In this role you will:

• Build strategic product recommendations using indepth research and analysis including product gap analysis competitive and fee analysis market trends and industry insights.
• Work across product structures and distribution channels supporting the full product lifecycle from ideation to implementation.
• Projectmanage product initiatives by partnering with Legal Compliance Operations Finance Fund Administration Distribution and Investment teams.
• Act as a product subjectmatter expert providing insight and guidance across the organization.
• Develop clear differentiated product communications in partnership with Product Marketing Distribution and Communications teams.
• Manage relationships with external data providers (such as Morningstar) to ensure product information is accurate and up to date.
• Contribute to a clientfocused culture that deepens relationships and leverages enterprise systems knowledge and expertise.
• Ensure adherence to operational regulatory compliance AML/ATF and conductrisk frameworks.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role Wed love to work with you if you have:

• Demonstrated success in a similar product development or product management role within asset management or financial services.
• Strong analytical capabilities and leadership experience with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations.
• Deep understanding of financial markets investment products and portfolio management theory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear compelling narratives.
• An undergraduate degree; being a CFA charterholder or candidate or having other relevant industry designations is an asset.
• Proficiency in Excel PowerPoint and project management tools.
