Job Summary

Ivy Tech Bloomington is seeking a student to serve as a Campus Activities Board (CAB) Assistant. This student leadership role supports the Office of Student Life with planning promoting and assisting with campus events and activities that encourage student engagement and involvement.

This position will require a commitment of 8 hours per week.

Hourly Rate: $15.00

General Purpose and Scope of Position: The Campus Activities Board (CAB) Assistant serves as a student leader with the campuss programming efforts. Assist Office of Student Life with coordination and implementation of Campus Activities Board events and activities.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Represent the student bodys voice when selecting future events/activities.
  • Assist with event logistics (setup tear down attendance tracking assisting performers etc.) at Campus Activities Board events/activities.
  • Create fliers and other promotional materials for events/activities.
  • Distribute event promotional materials on campus.
  • Assist the Office of Student Life with post event assessment through providing feedback compiling survey data etc.
  • Attend CAB sponsored events and activities.
  • Attend and actively participate in CAB/Student Life event planning meetings.
  • Actively encourage students to participate and/or get involved on campus.
  • Act as the Bee Mascot when needed.
