Job Summary

You are an effective multitasker who has at least two years of experience in a dispatch or subcontract administration position. As the Subcontracts Coordinator you will be involved in the selection and dispatching of subcontractors for our clients Canadian regions. Using your exceptional interpersonal skills you will also be responsible for maintaining subcontractor relationships and information. Youre a team player who ensures the well-being of others and lends a hand where needed.

Essential Responsibilities:

Track and collect contractual prequalification of subcontractors
Adheres toClient safety requirements
Documents meetings internally
Audits work orders and related documents and provides guidance and correction
Maintains and audits the database containing subcontractor locations equipment labour rates etc.
Conduct routine compliance checks within the database to ensure accuracy consistency and alignment with project requirements
Maintain update and organize project files with detailed locate information including statuses and supporting documentation
Assist in subcontract change management process

Qualifications:

Experience in a similar role in subcontract administration project coordination dispatch or logistics is suggested
Post-secondary education in a relevant field will be considered an asset but is not required
An understanding of the pipeline energy or construction industries is an asset
Proficiency in verbal and written communication with a high degree of attention to detail
Ability to interact with subcontractors
Effective multitasking and organizational skills and be able to work well in a team environment
Maintaining the highest customer satisfaction along with strong professionalism is a must
Strong computer background including experience with programs such as MS Word and Excel
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and tracking
A general understanding of databases and other software programs would also be an asset
