Job Description:
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Deputizing for the department management
- Ensuring optical inspection of parenteral dosage forms according to qualityrelevant and economic standards
- Monitoring product quality quantity and adherence to timelines (including KPIs)
- Cost control
- Compliance with GMP EHS and SOX requirements and guidelines associated with the role
- Reviewing performance management; creating performance trends from shift data while considering resources and priorities
- Support and management to ensure timely completion of quality investigations CPAs and change controls
- Leading and supporting projects within the scope of continuous improvement (focus on GMP safety lean efficiency cost)
- Coordination and support for product transfers qualifications and validations
- Ongoing personal development and application of the resulting insights for the Optical Inspection department
Minimum Qualification
- BA/BSc (MSc/MBA preferred) in pharmaceuticals life sciences engineering business or equivalent required
- At least 4 years of proven experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing quality engineering or a related field
- Leadership experience including building and leading crossfunctional teams
- Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with team members colleagues business partners and customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate across different levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills; ability to understand connections between different functions
- Experience in optical inspection is an advantage
