This role will play a crucial part of the UNITE team. UNITE is our business-led tech-enabled transformation and a key priority for the Group. As an Executive Manager Technology Risk (UNITE) youll provide second line oversight insight and challenge over technology and cyber risks across the UNITE transformation program.

Sitting within the Risk Division youll support the Head of Technology Risk and divisional Chief Risk Officers to ensure change execution risks are identified assessed and managed in line with Westpacs Three Lines of Defence model. Youll attend key governance forums review and challenge material changes provide risk insights to senior stakeholders and escalate emerging or material risks where required.

This role is fully dedicated to UNITE combining deep technical expertise with strong risk judgement to help ensure transformation outcomes are delivered safely and within risk appetite.

This is a Sydneybased role with flexible work options (3 days in office)

What do I need

  • Deep experience in technology and/or cyber risk advisory ideally within largescale transformation programs
  • Strong background providing second- or third-line risk oversight including review challenge and risk insight
  • Experience assessing technology controls control design and control effectiveness
  • Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders including executives and governance forums
  • Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills with the ability to translate technical risk into business insight
  • Relevant industry qualifications (e.g. CISSP CISM CRISC) and a relevant tertiary degree
