We are looking for a Financial Reporting Expert (m/f/d) who is detail-oriented motivated and committed to join us in our Finance team based in ourUCB HQoffice inBrusselsBelgium.

About the role

You will be working in a team that ensures precise and prompt financial reporting adherence to regulatory requirements and provides understanding to support planned choices. This role involves preparing financial reports analyzing financial data and collaborating with various departments to ensure financial honesty.

Who youll work with

You will collaborate with a committed team of finance professionals including accountants auditors and financial analysts. Together you will work on upholding the accuracy of financial records and assisting the companys financial health through detailed reporting and analysis.

What youll do

• Provide knowledge on sophisticated analytics and embed this within the core financial reporting suite.
• Establish efficient reporting within and outside the finance department using the latest reporting technology (Power BI).
• Align and reduce different reports (Excel SAPBW Qlik) to provide a clean reporting suite.
• Support the integration of Anaplan Power BI and Qlik with SAP BW /Cognos BI SAP ECC and Cognos Controller.
• Ensure precise UCB financial reporting and enhance (Patient) customer satisfaction.
• Assist and guide stakeholders in local markets and units including Finance Business Partners (FBPs) Local and Global FP&A and leadership across departments.

Interested For this role were looking for the following education experience and skills:

• 1-3 years of professional background in finance (accounting and controlling) preferably in complex global companies with outsourced model
• Experience/background in Power BI SAP BW Qlik & Cognospreferred
• Experience with advancing technologies such as predictive analytics and robotics preferred
• Proficient analytical skills and skilled usage of Excel
• Capability to translate business requirements into a realistic and feasible global framework
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
