Description of the job:
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international
program sponsored by the French Ministries of Europe and Foreign Affairs the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business
function.
The VIE is a specific contract under Business Frances eligibility criteria.
VIE Main Requirements :
European Union citizens (plus Norway Iceland Liechtenstein and Monaco) graduates up to and including 28 years old (a V.I.E mission can begin no later than the day of the twenty-ninth birthday)
Have fulfilled military obligations for their country if any
Must be registered on the Mon Volontariat International website before the age of 28 For more information: English German Italian and Spanish) The contract duration of VIE is between 6 to 24 months.
A VIE for a (job title) has arisen within (Airbus Defence & Space / Airbus Helicopters / Airbus (Commercial Aircraft) / Name of the Subsidiary) in (Location). You will join (Department only).

Within the Airbus EU and NATO Public Affairs Office in Brussels the candidate will assist the Head of EU Aviation & Regulatory Affairs with respect to
regulatory and aviation-related topics. This will notably involve regulatory
analysis monitoring position paper preparation and participation in meetings with internal specialists and in external meetings with associations or public authorities.

Tasks and responsibilities :
Supporting the tracking of EU trends and future regulatory developments of
interest for Airbus specially on the corporate digital and aviation fields.
Working in conjunction with the relevant internal teams to assess the impacts of these future legislations onto Airbus activities.
Supporting the preparation of position papers both at Airbus level and with
associations that clearly explain the companys positioning.
Supporting the Public Affairs team to make sure that this position is voiced to the appropriate decision-makers and through appropriate associations and
networks when relevant.

Required skills :
Education and experience :

Post-graduate in European affairs and/or public affairs lobbying political
science international relations economics or law.
Minimum 1 year experience in European affairs preferred experience in European institutions an asset
Demonstrated interest in aeronautics and aviation. Interest in European
transport digital environment trade or research policy an asset.

Willingness to learn about aeronautics technical topics
Strong interpersonal skills
Clear and precise English language writing skills

Languages :
High standard of spoken and written English
High standard in another European language is a welcome asset
