About Cultivate Initiatives:

We are a group of people who work alongside those on the margins to empower individuals and communities through an inclusive range of services and support. We build communities from the inside out through community engagement and action workforce development housing and sheltering.

This position requires completion of the Cultivate Initiatives Intern Program.

Accountability:

Accountable to the Property Stewardship Program Manager and Beautification Lead (while offsite)

Compensation/Benefits:

Full-time non-exempt position starting at $20 hourly
100% employer-paid medical vision and dental premiums
Eleven paid holidays vacation and sick time
401k with a 3% employer match

Duties/Responsibilities:

Provide community beautification services such as graffiti removal waste removal and other services as requested
Maintain safety of self team and surroundings while providing services
Represent Cultivate Initiatives to various partners and community members
Participate in meetings and trainings
May participate in special projects and activities
May perform other duties as requested by supervisor

Work Conditions and Physical Requirements:

Work is performed indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.
Ability to work in environments with varying noise levels from quiet offices to louder industrial settings.
Work requires the ability to perform manual labor requiring the full range of body movement.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
Being physically present in the CI offices from 8:30am 4:30pm Monday - Friday
Must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or religious exemption
