Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Supporting pupils in developing both practical and theoretical scientific skills
Preparing pupils for GCSE Science examinations
Delivering safe and effective practical experiments
Monitoring progress and providing clear and constructive feedback
Contributing to departmental planning and development
Supporting enrichment opportunities such as STEM clubs and science events
Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment
The successful candidate will:
Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Have strong subject knowledge across Biology Chemistry and Physics
Be confident teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4
Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
Be able to motivate pupils and support their academic progress
Work effectively within a collaborative teaching team
Be committed to ongoing professional development
