Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Supporting pupils in developing strong theoretical and practical understanding
Preparing pupils for GCSE Science examinations
Delivering safe and effective practical experiments
Monitoring pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development
Supporting enrichment opportunities such as STEM activities
Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
The successful candidate will:
Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Have strong subject knowledge across Biology Chemistry and Physics
Be confident teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4
Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
Be able to inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for scientific learning
Work effectively as part of a collaborative department
