As a MineStar Performance Manager you will be at the core of both staffed and autonomous mining operations partnering closely with customers to elevate safety efficiency and operational excellence.

This role sits within the MineStar Performance Center with a key focus on optimizing the performance of MineStar Fleet and Command for Hauling applications across the region. Youll work directly with customers dealers and internal teams to drive measurable improvements using data assessments and performance toolsand act on opportunities that unlock value.

What You Will Do

• Called upon as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support safe and effective performance for MineStar Fleet and Command for Hauling customers.

• Lead and deliver Site Assessments continuous improvement (CI) initiatives and performance tool implementations.

• Apply advanced methodologies and tools todefine measure analyze improve and control performancefor MineStar applications.

• Provide coaching and mentoring to Caterpillar teams dealers and mining customers.

• Advise customers on operational best practices and CI opportunities to unlock higher performance.

• Maintain and update operational documentation to reflect best practices and performance insights.

• Collaborate with internal product engineering and support teams to enhance technology offerings.

• Support both contractual and non-contractual customer performance commitments.

Skills You Will Have:

• Extensive experience in surface mining operations

• Advanced knowledge of MineStar Fleet Command for Hauling or other mining technologies

• Deep understanding of operational excellence and mining processes.

• Applies performance improvement methodologies to diagnose complex operational technical or processdriven challenges.

• Comfort working across diverse themesdata analysis coding validation documentation coaching project management.

Effective Communications

• Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal and communication skills across frontline technical and leadership audiences.

• Leads and supports change management efforts guiding customers and internal partners through adoption and continuous improvement.

• Builds strong relationships and influences customer decisionmaking through credibility insight and clear articulation of value.

Field Support

• Shows a strong commitment to expanding expertise across additional MineStar applications and related technologies.

• Serves as a trusted escalation point for complex field challenges collaborating with customers and internal teams to resolve issues effectively.

Top Candidates Will Have

• Degree in Mining Engineering Mechanical Engineering Data Science/Analytics or IT

• Extensive experience working in conventional or autonomous surface mining operations

• Experience with mining technology systems or heavy mining equipment

• Knowledge of French or Spanish would be considered advantageous

• Professional Engineer or the ability to register as a Professional Engineer would be considered advantageous.

Additional Information

• Primary work locations: Calgary Alberta

• Travel required approximately 2550% to Caterpillar offices and remote mine locations

• Domestic relocation assistance is available
