Job Summary
Your mission
- Overall responsibility to lead the creation and execution of the long term business strategy (range pricing performance)
- Design product price quality ladder and steer sales to achieve targets and when needed react to deviations to ensure sales are in line with business objectives
- Develop and coordinate unique promotions that are consistent with the marketing strategy and are designed to help achieve business objectives
- Conduct competitor analysis and monitor competitor strategies and recommend adjustment to category plans where needed
- Responsible for reviewing of forecasting and planning of monthly sales to ensure sufficient inventory levels
- Conducting quarterly portfolio reviews presented to expondos stakeholders board identifying gaps and opportunities within the business
- Analysis of business and financial data as well as competition research to gain insight and lead strategic decisions for marketing and sales purposes
- Actively cooperate with all key stakeholders within expondo and beyond to secure integration common focus and to maximize impact (Digital Supply Chain Marketing Finance Operations)
- Cooperate with other departments and coach them to develop the competence to reach sales targets
Your profile
- 5 years of experience in a category management product category analysis retail e-commerce or related field
- Analytical mindset with a focus on action-based analysis
- Proficiency with MS Excel
- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g. Power BI) would be a huge asset
- Fluency in English
- Bachelor/Master in Business Economics International Business Data Analytics or related field
- Strong conceptual project management and stakeholder management skills
- Independent and self-reliant work organization
