About the Role
Reporting to theLogistics Directorthe Logistics Managerfor Poland will work collaboratively with all areas of the Operations Team and external 3PLs to support the delivery of an outstanding level of service at theoptimumcost.
This is a hybrid working role based primarily from our site in Szczecin Poland with some travel to our European offices and UK Head Office.
- Flexible approach to working with attendance to offices in Europe and 3PL Locations
- Working with Inbound Planning and Order managementFunctionsmonitor storageutilisationacross the warehouses to ensuregood productplacement for outbound deliveries
- Deliver strategic and transformationalprojects in a fast-moving and highly demanding environment
- Working with the UK and NA Inventory teams to support improvements in inventory managementincdamages andreboxactivities
- Collaborate with the NPD Rework coordinatorto review CSRs and SOPs onaongoing basis to support process and service improvements.
- Support the production and review of KPIs across all areasincdistribution and finance.
- Use project managementmethodology(prince II orequivilient) to deliver initiatives and projects on time
- Building relationships with stakeholders andcollaborating with other functional areas of the business to drive transformational changeand embed new ways of working( processes governance culture)
- Manage thelogisticsprojects related and not limitedto:opening new warehouses service providerselection tender and bench marking exercises IT implementations cost reductioninitatives
- Understand business requirements deliverlogisticssolutions in a cost-effective and high-quality manner
- Be the key point of contact for alllogisticsissuesrelated tonewproject andintativelaunchesescalating to the 3PL contract manager whenrequired
- Transform the project frominitativeto BAU handing over to the 3PL contract manager
- Work collaboratively with third-partylogisticspartners to ensure great service levels and bestcostespeciallyduringimplementationand golive phase.
- Define the critical path and key milestones to ensure initiatives and projects are delivered on time provide clear communication to all stakeholders on progress
- Identifyrisks and provide mitigation plansin order toavoid these
- Analysethe data and evaluate performance metrics to ensure quality delivery and cost-efficient workflow processes and toidentifytrends and opportunities for improvement
ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS(REQUIREMENTS):
- Strong project management(Prince 2 or equivalent)and stakeholdersmanagementskills
- Proventrack recordof leading teams in a logistical environment and working in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation and improvement is part of our culture
- Knowledge ofB2B and D2Clogisticsmarketplace as a wholeis bedesirable
- Knowledge of Warehouse and Transport Operations
- Excellent English communication skills
- Commitment to learning and expanding professional and technical knowledge
- Numerate with seasoned analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
- Ability to clearly communicate data insights to others
- Willingness to be hands-on and flexible with the workload
- Ability to understand the product our business and the competitive landscape
- Be agile enthusiastic and curious
In certain locations this position will be hired and employed through a third-party Employer of Record (EOR). SharkNinja will be responsible for the day-to-day work supervision and performance management of the role but the EOR will be the employer of record for legal and administrative purposes (i.e. payroll benefits compliance).
