Position Summary
The Inventory Control & Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring that all products meet company quality standards. This position requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The Specialist supports daily operations by performing audits inspections and documentation to ensure accuracy consistency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Control
- Perform daily inventory counts audits and reconciliation.
- Monitor and document product movement throughout the warehouse.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and provide detailed reporting.
- Maintain accurate documentation logs and data entry within inventory systems.
- Assist with cycle counts and root-cause analysis for inventory issues.
Quality Assurance
- Inspect incoming stored and outgoing products for quality accuracy and compliance.
- Identify and report damaged defective or mislabeled products.
- Ensure products are stored handled and staged according to company standards.
- Follow QA protocols to support consistency and product integrity.
Warehouse Support
- Collaborate with warehouse leads supervisors and other departments to support daily operations.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on accuracy efficiency and safety.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in inventory control warehouse operations or quality assurance preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume warehouse environment.
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems or scanners.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Ability to stand walk bend and perform repetitive movements for 12-hour shifts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
