Sales Representative - Manufacturing (Permanent) Durban (On-site)
A well-established organisation within the steel manufacturing sector is seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Sales Representative to join their team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth building strong customer relationships and expanding market presence within designated territories.

Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing and Sales
- Professional sales skills training
- Minimum 3 years sales and marketing experience within a relevant product field and territories
- Valid Drivers License
- Computer literate
- Working knowledge of SYSPRO
- English
- Zulu (Advantagous)
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote company products to both existing and prospective customers within identified territories
- Increase customer awareness and grow market share
- Develop a strong understanding of the industry and customer needs
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans and sales strategies
- Identify and develop new markets and customer opportunities
- Maintain excellent customer service standards to support business growth
- Conduct regular customer visits
- Prepare and present proposals and tailored solutions
- Ensure customer credit limits align with budgeted sales
- Assist with monthly material forecasting
- Monitor record and analyse monthly customer sales
- Manage stock effectively including reducing slow-moving items
- Support cost management initiatives
