What is the Opportunity
Reporting to the Field Operations Manager the position is responsible for remote sitesupport network infrastructure support and the successful completion of help desk requests within their support queue and overall management of the service provided to all Aecon field activities.
What Youll Do Here:
- Capturing clear site requirements and working with the Estimator and Manager onquoting for sites.
- Design and manage job site setups engaging other internal teams and vendors asnecessary. Network diagrams cabling and workstation requirements VC-roomsetups etc.
- Manage job sites throughout their entire lifecycle from site mobilization to sitedemobilization. Oversee proper job site decommissioning of IT equipment.
- Keeping site records up to date and accurate with all required diagrams anddocumentation in the CMDB.
- Work with Aecons Joint Venture partners as necessary take a leading role inproviding IT support services.
- Work with Strategic Sourcing and Procurement teams to source effective andaffordable equipment for sites.
- Provide rotating support visits to all Aecon job sites including remote locations.
- Help coordinate quality standards and ensures public company compliance.
- Adhere to Aecons IT Services Policies Procedures and Guidelines.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Degree or diploma related to Information Services or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated experience on multiple technologies including (but not limited to) HPCitrix Cisco and Microsoft technologies.
- Familiarity with ITIL Foundations Microsoft Networking and Citrix & Virtualization.
- Must have working knowledge of Windows 11 MS Office 365 products Microsoft365 Administration and Active Directory.
- Experience with Incident Management Problem Management KnowledgeManagement Change Management or Service Level Management.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical people.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Technical knowledge in computer hardware and software configuration.
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to act individually and work together with others as part of a team.
- Recognize analyze and effectively solve problems in a timely and organizedmanner using industry best practices and procedures.
Citizenship Requirement:
This position requires access to nuclear facilities and information governed by U.S. federal regulations. As a result applicants must be U.S. citizens to meet eligibility and security clearance requirements.
