Job Summary
Our client is looking for a Business Analyst to join their team in the Eastern Cape. - Gather analyse and document business and functional requirements
- Work closely with stakeholders developers and project teams to identify business needs and process improvements
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories
- Facilitate workshops meetings and requirement gathering sessions
- Assist with process mapping gap analysis and solution design
- Support testing implementation and change management activities
- Ensure that solutions align with business objectives and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support successful project delivery
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation and continuous improvement
- Maintain clear and accurate project and business documentation
Requirements:
- 35 years experience as a Business Analyst
- Relevant qualification in Business Analysis Information Systems IT or a related field
- Strong understanding of business processes and systems analysis
- Experience with requirement gathering methodologies and documentation
- Exposure to Agile and/or Scrum environments advantageous
- Strong communication stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Technical & Professional Skills:
- Experience with tools such as Jira Confluence Visio or similar
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with process mapping and workflow analysis
