Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Project Lifecycle Governance & Commercialization Assurance
Seamless Stage-Gate Monitoring & Execution
- Establish and optimize Stage-Gate process covering project initiation approval execution market validation through full commercialization ensuring seamless handoffs across all stages
- Monitor project completion rate with real-time tracking of schedule quality and budget performance ensuring on-time on-quality and on-budget delivery with successful commercialization
- Implement project status reporting mechanism to identify bottlenecks and risks enable timely intervention and corrective actions ensuring full process control
Systematic Project Intake Information Collection & Assessment
- Establish unified project proposal intake channels and evaluation criteria to systematically capture initiation requests from marketing sales product and technical teams
- Lead screening and preliminary assessment of intake information analyzing market opportunity technical feasibility and resource alignment to develop prioritized project backlog
- Organize initiation review meetings integrate cross-functional inputs and provide structured decision support for management approval
Value Assessment & Investment Decision
- Support business case development and financial analysis to provide decision basis for initiation approval
- Conduct regular portfolio review terminate underperforming or off-strategy projects to ensure resource focus on high-value initiatives
Project Management System Development & Organizational Enablement
Process Standardization & Methodology Building
- Develop and implement standardized project management processes tools and templates to unify project management language and practice standards
- Build project management training system to empower project managers and teams enhancing overall delivery capability and organizational maturity
- Serve as project management expert providing methodology guidance problem diagnosis and best practice sharing for all projects
Governance Mechanism & Continuous Improvement
- Establish project review and governance mechanism to standardize project initiation change and closure approval
- Drive project management digitalization and data-driven decision making to continuously optimize process efficiency
Cross-Project Resource Coordination & Stakeholder Alignment
Strategic Resource Planning & Allocation
- Lead strategic resource planning coordinate cross-project resource allocation resolve resource conflicts to ensure critical project resource commitment
- Establish resource prioritization mechanism to dynamically adjust resource allocation aligned with strategic priorities
Global & Local Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Build efficient collaboration mechanism with headquarters local sales engineering operations finance and product teams to ensure alignment on demand planning and execution
- Actively participate in SIOP process providing guidance on new project demand resource allocation and project lifecycle events
- Partner with sales and commercial leaders to identify growth opportunities and drive new project market penetration and strategy execution
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Operations Business or related field; MBA or PMP certification strongly preferred
- Minimum 5 years of Program/Project Management experience in a complex matrixed organization with demonstrated track record of leading cross-functional projects from initiation to commercialization
- Proven expertise in establishing and optimizing Stage-Gate or similar project governance processes with hands-on experience in project portfolio management and PMO operations
- Demonstrated strategic decision-making skills regarding project prioritization resource allocation investment trade-offs make-buy decisions and go/no-go project decisions
- 80/20 complexity reduction and simplification experience in project portfolio context with ability to eliminate low-value initiatives and focus resources on high-impact projects
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate interact and influence at all levels of the organization from project teams to executive leadershipto drive project delivery and business results
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills with proven ability to identify project risks resolve bottlenecks and ensure on-time on-quality on-budget delivery
- Proven ability to develop trusted respectful relationships internally and externally serving as effective liaison between global headquarters local functions and external partners
- Excellent presentation verbal and written communication skills with ability to synthesize complex project information for diverse stakeholders
- High level of personal initiative energy and ownership of project portfolio results with accountability for overall project completion rates and commercialization success
- Solid experience interacting with both internal and external customers to capture project requirements and validate market acceptance
- Strong financial and business acumen with proven ability to develop business cases analyze ROI and interpret financial statements to support project investment decisions
- Proven ability to lead courageously and drive large cross-functional teams to success in challenging resource-constrained situations
- Proven ability to analyze interpret and draw meaningful and accurate conclusions from project data metrics and KPIs to enable data-driven portfolio decisions
- Proven ability to conduct complex financial analyses develop project financial models and manage project budgets forecasts and cash flow
- Ability to develop strategic project roadmaps and drive tactical execution across multiple concurrent initiatives
- Strong program and project management skills to manage a portfolio of projects with optimum cost schedule and quality; proficiency in critical path analysis resource leveling and risk management
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office applications and project management tools (MS Project Smartsheet or similar) required; knowledge of Oracle ERP Power BI and portfolio management software a plus
