Summary
As a Payroll & General Accountant you will be responsible for ensuring accurate payroll processing and related accounting managing general ledger activities and supporting month-end close in compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal policies. You will deliver timely accurate financial reporting maintain clean and reconciled ledgers and support statutory and tax compliance.Job description
For this position we offer work agreement on the territory of Poland.
We work in a hybrid mode - we offer up to 12 days of Home Office monthly.
As Payroll Accountant you will executeaccuratepayroll processing and related accounting ensuring statutory compliance and employee General Accountant you will be responsible for executing general ledger accounting for assigned areas and supporting month-end close activities ensuring compliance with local GAAP group/IFRS and internal policies.
Both roles provide accurate and timely financial reporting and assists in statutory and tax compliance. What is expected as an outcome of your work are clean and reconciled ledgers accurate financial statements and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Payroll / General accountant is reporting to Chief Accountant.
On your first day we will expect you to have knowledge of:
HR&payroll regulations(PIT ZUS labor code)
Local accounting standards and tax regulations (VAT CIT WHT)
Monthly quarterly and annual close activities; preferred in international company
At least 4 years of experience in finance related field
Good command of English (both written and spoken at least B2 level)
Good knowledge of MS Office package
Love for numbers
Desire to proceed your career in finance
Independence systematicity responsibility and accuracy
