Where Youll Make a Difference
Ensure adherence to all quality systems (ISO 9001 Food Safety) and understand IFFs Quality Policy and procedures.
Comply with all company policies including Quality Safety GMPs HAACP Environmental and Attendance.
Operate and maintain production equipment and tools (e.g. fermenters centrifuges CIP systems homogenizers blend tanks freeze dryers forklifts).
Monitor production processes by collecting samples checking temperature pressure pH and interpreting charts.
Follow SOPs and Work Instructions to adjust processes control instruments and add raw materials as needed.
Identify and report atypical or incorrect conditions in the production area promptly.
Maintain accurate records/logs of production processes equipment maintenance and cleaning activities.
Perform routine preventive maintenance minor mechanical adjustments and coordinate major repairs or part replacements.
Prepare and move raw materials equipment and final products; assist in sterilization cleaning and compliance with regulatory standards.

Should possess a high school education or equivalent a successful work history
The ability to work as a team player and proven mechanical ability
Should have the ability to perform the essential functions of the job in a safe and efficient manner.
Must be able to wear proper PPE that may be required.
Must be able to add subtract multiply and divide using percentages and decimals to utilize the Metric/English system for measurement.
Must have the ability to read comprehend and follow oral and written procedures and instructions.
Must have the ability to be trained to use a computer which will be a necessity to retrieve and enter data on a database navigate the internet for safety training and provide email correspondence.

Conditions may be humid dusty and cold requiring the use of personal protective equipment.
The work requires that employees be able to maintain a high level of personal hygiene cleanliness and safety; and be able to wear safety protection.
The incumbent must work independently relying on oral and written instructions.
