Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY:
Employee is responsible for driving truck to job sites and service/repair buildings to deliver equipment and materials as necessary. Maintenance of warehouse organization and acceptance of scheduled deliveries to warehouse. Working with vendors and purchasing materials as requested by project manager and Superintendent with approval by Branch Manager as required.
The essential functions of the position include but are not limited to the following:
- Driving warehouse stake bed truck for deliveries.
- Driving shop pick-up truck for deliveries.
- Driving for extended hours to Eastern Washington as needed.
- Maintenance of general cleanliness and organization of warehouse facility.
- Supervise any temporary employees as needed for warehouse inventory and organizing events
- Operate the warehouse forklift in an efficient and safe manner including daily inspections of the equipment. Perform minor maintenance and adjustments. Advise management of all equipment problems and failures.
- Receipt of scheduled deliveries and parts to warehouse including proper storage and distribution.
- Ordering parts as requested.
- Check and advise inventory availability and manage reserved inventory.
- Performs other job functions as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years Warehouse and driving experience.
- 2 years with elevator company recommended
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Forklift training certification and 3 years experience
- Good driving record with valid drivers license.
- Ability to lift 70 lbs.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $30.77/hr and $42.31/hr; however base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements including commissions based on achieving individual performance and/or sales metrics incentive compensation and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these additional compensation and benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired employee will be in an at-will position and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
