Turnaround Coordinator
Client: Chemical Plant
Location: Plaquemine La
Duration: May 2026- Jan 2027 or later
Schedule: 4/10s 5/10s 7/12s
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinatemulti-craftresourcesinaccordancewithturnaroundsafety requirementsplansspecifications cost estimates schedules quality requirements various procedures standards practices etc.
- Providegeneral coordinationandfacilitationas well asmonitorthe progress ofturnaroundactivities
- Coordinate execution during the variousphases of theturnaround
- Visit jobsite of jobs scheduled for upcoming shift to perform a safety andhazard review andrecommendaction to resolve any findings
- Submit daily shiftreportsand 3-shift look-aheadtoscheduler and/orrepresentative
- Update shift log with progress and other relevant data for relief shifts
- Communicate permit needs to operationrepresentativeat start of shift
- Interface with other turnaround support resources as required by job plans
- Confirm materialas required by job plansare available on job site
- Analyze andrecommend resolutions ofwork problems orassistworkers in solving work problemsor barriers
- Performs only work approved byclients work approval procedures
- Walk downjobpackages and verifyjob readinesswithprints/drawings
- Perform pre-start up safety review
- Create punchlistsfrom pre-start up safety reviews
Qualifications & Skills for Success:
- Minimum of 5years workingin acoordinatorpositionmanaging multi-craft mechanical resources
- Ability to read P6 schedules
- Extensiveknowledge of various metals tradeskillsand associate equipment(pipe fitting welding boiler makingcrane &riggingX-ray techniques andinterpretation)
- Knowledgeable of othercraftskills such as electrical rotating equipment instrumentation scaffolding insulation painting
- Proficient in reading mechanical drawings blueprintsisometricsP&IDs
- Ability to understand field changes and red-line drawings
- Ability to coordinate the work activities and schedules of multi-craft field work crews
