Job Summary

Executive Assistant Office of the Directorate Operations Lead CDB/Tallaght/Connolly

Purpose of the Role:

The Grade V Executive Assistant to Office of the Directorate Operations Lead CDB/Tallaght/Connolly will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the assigned Executive portfolio and contribute to the effective and efficient operation of their respective Office.

This role requires excellent organisational skills attention to detail and the ability to work with discretion and professionalism. The post holder will support diary management meeting logistics documentation and correspondence ensuring the relevant Executive / CD Triumvirate Leads schedule runs smoothly.

Essential Criteria:

Essential Criteria:

A minimum of 3 years administrative experience in a busy office environment.

A minimum of 1 years current experience in a healthcare public sector or similar regulated environment working in a senior administration role.

OR

A minimum of 1 years current experience in a PA/EA role supporting an Executive/Board member.

Desirable Criteria:

Hold a comparable and relevant third level qualification of at least level 6 on the National Qualifications Framework maintained by Qualifications and Quality Ireland (QQI) in administration business or related field.

Knowledge of administrative processes within the Irish health service (e.g. HSE Department of Health).

Experience supporting senior leaders or executives.

Personal Skills & Attributes

A passion for modern healthcare supporting the Office of the CEO and / or CD Triumvirate Leads in the delivery of high quality care encouraging a positive workplace environment and in keeping with CHIs values of child-centred compassionate and progressive care.

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Must have strong minute taking experience/WPM typing

Proven experience in agenda creation; agenda actions management and follow up with relevant meeting owners.

High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).

Proven ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all administrative tasks.
