Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your strategic procurement expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll report toTitus ARDEVAN(Domains Operations Manager Cluj-Napoca) and work alongside dedicated Commodity Leads and Commodity Managers in the global domains categories.

Youll be in charge of the deployment of procurement strategies across your commodity secure demand and develop suppliers. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business in procurement supply chain engineering quality & production ensuring project execution in line with Quality Cost Delivery & Technical (QCDT) objectives and much more.

Youll specifically take care of global supplier Panel relationships (supplier workload negotiation specific agreement local supplier quality cost & time delivery performances) and youll consolidate commodity needs and inputs across all regions.

Well look to you for:

Supplier Relationship:

• Support global supplier panel relationship (Periodic Reviews);
• Manage specific supplier panel relationship (negotiation specific agreement local supplier QCDT performances);
• Monitor day to day suppliers performances and issues;
• Management of initial issues before escalation to line manager;
• Respect Alstom Transport code of ethics and guidelines.

Commodity Support:

• Active participation to commodity strategy on her/his scope;
• Lead commodity commitments according to the defined strategy on her/his scope;
• Pilot negotiation with panel suppliers during tender phase to ensure best commodity commitment to platform and site teams;
• Represent the commodities towards Region (bid team projects) and Platform Regional;
• Animate teamwork with internal and external stakeholders (Projects Suppliers Experts) for effective problem solving;
• Apply the Alstom Transport Sourcing process and provide return on experience.

Involvement in projects:

• Coordinate project with all Metiers for supplier selection and development;
• Prepare and launch of Request For Quotation (RFQ) with suppliers;
• Lead project negotiation from RFQ to supplier award Go order and contractualization;
• Ensure and negotiate contractual requirement (Specific Agreement derogation Go Order decision);
• Monitor sourcing project QCDT (Product development Pre-bid agreement Business Award First Article Inspection Delivery needs);
• Ensure alignment with QCD commitment respect and animate Planning & Savings reviews as per Tender/project stakes;
• Coordinate sourcing activities with local sourcing teams: Contracts application strategy saving actions suppliers performance reviews.

• Business school or Engineering degree with Master in purchasing;
• Minimum of 7years working experience in purchasing or projects;
• Fluent level of English;
• International background;

• Rigorous and structured;
• Be willing to travel to Alstom or suppliers sites mainly in Europe.
