Job Summary
EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
Acting Scan4Safety Assistant Manager Grade VI(confined to Finance)
Purpose of the role:
Specified Purpose role covering Assistant Scan4Safety Manager.
The Acting Scan4Safety Assistant Manager will have responsibility for the following areas:
Candidates must possess the following:
Have obtained at least Grade D3 in five subjects in the Leaving Certificate Examination (higher ordinary applied or vocational programmes) or equivalent
Or
Have passed an examination at the appropriate level within the QQI qualifications framework which can be assessed as being of a comparable to Leaving Certificate standard or equivalent or higher i.e. Fetac Level 5
Or
Have satisfactory relevant experience which encompasses demonstrable equivalent skills
And
4 years relevant experience
3rd level qualification in a relevant field
Suitable supervisory experience
Practical experience of use of IT systems / packages
Fluent command and understanding of the English language to include spoken and written word.
Desirable Requirements:
Knowledge and understanding of Genesis system
Knowledge and understanding of SAP

Acting Scan4Safety Assistant Manager Grade VI(confined to Finance)
Purpose of the role:
Specified Purpose role covering Assistant Scan4Safety Manager.
The Acting Scan4Safety Assistant Manager will have responsibility for the following areas:
- Deputising in the absence of the manager.
- Be responsible for the implementation oversight operations and compliance of the Scan for Safety project.
- Have overall responsibility for the Scan for Safety system.
- Maintain and manage on an ongoing basis the Scan for Safety software.
- Ensure all data is accurate within the Scan for Safety system.
- Be responsible for all related Scan for Safety software upgrades and processes.
- To mentor and coach colleagues and direct reports.
- To undertake any other duties of a similar level and responsibilities as may be required from time to time.
- Share responsibility with Supply Chain Management for the reconciliations and interactions across multiple systems and catalogues.
- Participate in the development of key performance indicators.
