The applicant must live within an hour of Central London due to frequent call outs. Position Role: Management of day to day and enduring welfare issues for those that live and work within Wellington Barracks the broader LCG and their dependents. Responsibilities: 1. The provision of all aspects of welfare support to SP based in LCG HG and LONDIST including Irish Guards Public Duties Companies in Aldershot. 2. Building good working relationships and collaboration with all outside veterans agencies other agencies and the community around Westminster. 3. Continual improvement and enhancements within the Unit Welfare system benefitting all SP and dependents. 4. Delivers exemplary duty of care manages WIMIS/SVRM recovery writes accurate reports books courses and liaises with medical and external agencies. 5. Run the Junior Ranks Club on Wellington Barracks which includes evening work to run the bar. 6. As part of a team of three SSgts providing an essential Emergency on call Welfare system covering 24/7/365 7. Working alongside AWS to provide duty of care and entertainment for Service Families support with all Housing issues/DIO/Industry Partners. 8. Advice the Chain of Command in all areas of D&I conduct formal monthly meetings with COC updating with clear and concise issues |
