Location: Mexico City
Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking to make a significant impact on tax compliance and financial accuracy As our Accounting and Reporting Analyst you will be the primary coordinator for Mexican Tax Authority (SAT) data collection ensuring all legal deadlines are met with precision. You will support the CBS Mexico team by driving seamless month-end closing activities and architecting essential financial reconciliations. This is an exciting opportunity to own critical reporting processes and collaborate across diverse teams to support financial integrity.
Tax Compliance Coordination: Lead the collection analysis and organization of accounting and tax information requested by Mexican Tax Authorities ensuring all external deadlines are successfully met.
Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with various internal departments to obtain required financial information acting as a central point of contact for tax-related data requests.
Financial Reporting: Support the accounting month-end closing process by preparing high-quality financial reports and reconciliations for the Team Lead.
Process Efficiency: Analyze and organize complex accounting data to streamline reporting workflows and ensure data accuracy across the organization.
Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or an Administrative field.
Experience: 1 to 3 years of professional experience in accounting or finance roles.
Tax Expertise: Foundational knowledge and practical experience with Mexican Tax Authority (SAT) requirements.
Language: Basic to Intermediate English proficiency.
Technical Systems: Previous experience utilizing SAP or other large-scale ERP systems.
Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Google Suite and collaborative digital tools.
Industry Experience: Previous experience within a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or shared services environment.
Employment Type: Temporary position (6-month contract).
