Job Summary

Position Criteria:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Up to two years experience in educational administrative setting preferred but not required

Performance Criteria:

  • Seek quotes (in compliance with board policy) complete ordering tracking and follow-up of accuracy/delivery of curriculum materials for: district classrooms new-curriculum needs new sections and new building classrooms
  • Enter Title 1 reading assistance students into PowerSchool
  • Reconciliation of purchasing card statements for the school improvement department
  • New course set-up: Create new course information in PowerSchool for course enrollment purposes
  • Collaborate with business office personnel to support purchasing procurement invoicing accounts requisitions etc.
  • Manage exam purchasing or club affiliation (CTE)
  • Manage travel accommodations for school improvement personnel as well as principal professional conference rotation
  • Coordinate the utilization of public purpose policy 803.2 in collaboration with directors to provide nutrition and hydration for district events.
  • Work as a liaison between non-public schools on spending the approved budget
  • Manage grants (ESSA Passport to Culture etc.) and communicate expenditures
  • Manage & organize an inventory of all current curriculum materials etc.
  • Schedule meetings and follow-ups for Directors of Teaching & Learning
  • Maintain & update internet and intranet presence with the most current information
  • Collaborate with the school improvement team and other administrative assistant roles as needed
  • Systems Administration Support with Software Integration (Canvas Clever Minga ELPA 21 CogAT etc.)
  • Work with the Executive Director of Teaching and Learning to manage the comprehensive school improvement budget.
