The Role

The school is seeking a passionate imaginative and dedicated Geography Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across KS3KS5. You will have the opportunity to teach both Physical and Human Geography fostering a deep understanding of global challenges sustainability and geopolitical trends.

You will contribute to a dynamic department that values innovation supporting curriculum development and delivering lessons that challenge students of all abilities. A key part of this role involves leading and supporting the schools extensive fieldwork programme taking advantage of the local Thames-side geography as well as organized residential trips further afield.

Person Specification

• Qualified Geography Teacher (QTS or equivalent)

• Experience teaching Geography across KS3KS4 (KS5/A-Level experience highly desirable)

• Strong subject knowledge across both Physical and Human Geography

• Ability to inspire challenge and engage students with contemporary global issues

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Commitment to contributing to the wider school community and co-curricular life
