Job Description:
Policy Design & Development
Design and implement comprehensive credit policies for digital personal loan products
covering sourcing underwriting disbursement and post-disbursement stages
Develop risk-based underwriting guidelines and segmentation strategies for various
customer segments and risk categories
Establish policy guardrails for product features including loan amounts tenure pricing
eligibility criteria and approval matrices
Define exception management frameworks and escalation policies for borderline cases
Credit Risk Management
Build and maintain credit scorecards decision models and alternate data frameworks
Implement fraud detection frameworks including bureau analytics and behavior pattern
analysis
Monitor portfolio performance metrics and conduct regular policy reviews based on
vintage analysis and cohort performance
Collaborate with analytics teams to develop predictive models and champion-challenger
frameworks
Regulatory Compliance & Governance
Ensure all credit policies comply with RBI guidelines Fair Practices Code responsible
lending norms and data privacy regulations
Coordinate with legal and compliance teams for policy reviews regulatory submissions and board approvals
Establish governance mechanisms including Credit Committee structures delegation of authority matrices and policy override protocols
Prepare and present policy proposals portfolio reviews and risk assessments to senior
management and board committees Stakeholder Management
Partner with business product and technology teams to support new product
launches BRE configurations and policy automation
Work with collections and operations teams for early warning indicators policy training
and operational efficiency improvements
Manage relationships with lending partners co-lending banks fintech platforms and
bureau agencies
Team Leadership
Build and lead a high-performing policy team including credit policy managers Risk
analysts and fraud prevention specialists
Foster a culture of data-driven decision making continuous learning and cross-
functional collaboration
