Scope and Responsibilities:

Ensure a safer and more conducive work environment for yourself your team the client and the vendors and contractors under your purview. Part of the checklist you will run through are to plan and execute all preparations needed to perform comprehensive transformation projects maintenance and routine tasks surrounding mechanical and electrical tasks.

Safety also means mental health and safety as a core leader in the engineering family you play a critical role in ensuring that all team members vendors and stakeholders work in a respectful and sustainable manner ensuring that there is a dynamic balance and that work is fulfilled in a passionate and engaging manner.

You should be a leader that has extensive experience managing and leading a team of high-quality technical personnel delivering excellent engineering services for our clients. You should be equipped with the right skills to lead and direct technical talent both direct and indirect. You need to understand the skillset changing engineering and technology developments and establish and develop the plan in order to ensure that technical talent remains relevant.

You embody a team player with a keen sense of understanding of how team dynamics function. You understand diversity and inclusion and make effort to bring this into the daily lives.

You are self-starter building and growing business in new geographies within the hub acquiring new clients and developing new solutions. You believe in continuous improvement driving activities to ensure that there is new value that is created for all relevant stakeholders You have a vision of how to grow the profitability of the business and the skills to bring that vision to life.

You have passion for understanding issues of key stakeholders and building and sustaining relationships and firmly believe in ensuring that problems are challenges and that all challenges can be resolved in a timely manner and can be prevented from happening.

Finance and Supply Chain

This role does requires a good level of awareness and control around budget and pricing for services delivered by the mobile engineering services team including travel accommodation and solutioning.

You will lead the team in this area with additional finance and procurement support around forecasting and P&L management. You will have experience in supporting and creating new business solutions within a mobile engineering services team to grow the business for Singapore and the region. You will need to be firmly have the accounts payables and accounts receivables in hand and ensure a proper cashflow.

You will need to have an extensive network of vendor and supplier partners. You must believe in engaging and engaging them to ensure that they continue to be partners and work in a hybrid way to deliver to the customers needs. You will oversee the vendor onboarding accreditation and SLA process and continue to evolve the process

Core facilities management skills:

• If you are a bachelors graduate in an engineering discipline (masters preferred) you will most likely qualify technically for this role.
• You should also have a minimum of 15 years of experience in facilities management and engineering operations with at least 8 of these in a management capacity
• Proven track record in large scale deployment in solutioning and delivering engineering operations maintenance and solutions across multiple accounts and countries.
• Post graduate or tertiary training in ACMV HVAC lift servicing fire suppression PMP electrical distribution and lean six sigma are advantageous.
